Terms of Service
These terms apply to your use of tongmasters.au and to anything you buy from us. By ordering, you agree to them.
About us
Tongmasters sells air-dried beef biltong and provides American BBQ catering, operating from 1 City Farm Place, East Perth WA 6004.
Ordering
Placing an order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we send you a confirmation email. If we can't fulfil an order, because we're out of stock, because there's been a pricing error, or because we can't deliver to your address, we'll tell you and refund you in full.
Prices
All prices are in Australian dollars. Biltong is a GST-free food under Australian tax law, so no GST is charged on it. Catering services are quoted separately and GST may apply. We can change prices at any time, but the price you see at checkout is the price you pay for that order.
Product information
We do our best to describe our products accurately. Because biltong is made by hand in small batches, colour, texture, thickness and the exact spice level will vary between batches. Weights are approximate and measured at the time of packing; biltong continues to dry slowly, so a bag may weigh slightly less by the time it reaches you.
Allergens and dietary information
Our biltong is made from Australian beef with a spice cure. If you have a food allergy or intolerance, contact us before ordering and we'll tell you exactly what's in the current batch. We prepare food in a kitchen that also handles other products, so we can't guarantee any product is free of a given allergen.
Payment
Payment is required in full at checkout. We accept the methods shown at checkout.
Delivery and returns
Covered by our shipping policy and refund policy, which form part of these terms.
Catering
Catering bookings are covered by our separate catering terms and conditions, which include deposits, confirmation of numbers, cancellation charges and public holiday surcharges.
Your account
If you create an account, keep your password to yourself. You're responsible for what happens under your account.
Acceptable use
Don't use this site for anything unlawful, don't try to break or interfere with it, and don't copy our photos or written content for commercial use without asking.
Intellectual property
Everything on this site, including the Tongmasters name, logo, photography and text, belongs to us or is used with permission.
Our liability
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law. Where we're allowed to limit our liability, it's limited to replacing the goods or refunding what you paid. We're not liable for delays caused by things outside our control, including courier delays, extreme weather, or supply problems.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia.
